What’s the difference between the three generations of Haakaa Pumps?
We get asked this question a lot! And while all the pumps work in the same way - using just one squeeze to suction to your breast and draw out your milk - they have some key differences that will help you decide which is best for you!

In a nutshell:
✨Gen 1 (100ml) - the perfect “handbag pump” - its small, compact and perfect for pumping on the go!
✨Gen 2 (100ml & 150ml) - a slightly larger capacity with a suction base for keeping your pump secure (and your liquid gold safe) on flat surfaces.
✨Gen 3 (160ml & 250ml) - the pump that grows with your baby’s needs! This one has the strongest suction and largest capacity, and is compatible with our Gen 3 attachments to convert it from a pump to a baby bottle, to breast milk storage and even a Sippy bottle!
